Quicken for Mac: The Quicken Converter, and the Conversion Utility in QuickBooks, cannot convert Quicken for Mac data file. If you have Quicken for Mac, convert your data file first to Quicken for Windows or create a new QuickBooks company file instead. The archive command in Quicken makes a copy of transactions prior to and including a date you specify. You don't lose any transactions since archiving in this software does not split the archived transactions off from the original data file. You may be used to using Quicken or QuickBooks for your consumer or business checking account. About QXF files. • The import and export of financial data using the QXF file format is limited to the accounts, transactions, scheduled transactions, categories, and tags of non-investment and non-business accounts. • The import and export of investment and business accounts, transactions, budgets, attachments, reports, and application settings is not supported by QXF. • The QXF file format is the preferred choice for merging Quicken account data. • Quicken for Windows can import QXF data from Quicken for Mac.
